This event has been organised by the European Commission and the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic. It was held ‘in person’ on 20 April 2023 at the Hotel Don Giovanni (Prague).
Almost 100 participants were encouraged to exchange best practices and experiences on how innovation can be accelerated to the defence sector and civil technologies be adopted. Participants also got information about EU funding opportunities in the area of defence innovation.
The event offered participants possibilities to demonstrate and pitch their innovative technologies as well as take part in matchmaking meetings.
The conference brought together companies of different sizes across the EU, research institutes and academia, governmental representatives as well as armed forces.
