Committee of the Regions' event on defence R&D opportunities for SMEs, clusters and regions

The Committee of the Regions will host an event on 21 November in Brussels to inform stakeholders about regional funding opportunities for SMEs and clusters concerning the promotion of innovation in the area of defence.
This event will try to answer some key questions:
- What are the key elements of the European Defence Fund, in particular in the area of research and development?
- What other funding opportunities exist in the area of defence, for example in the context of the European Structural and Investment Funds?
- Which instruments and tools are available to guide SMEs, clusters and regions to these new opportunities?
