Estonia’s Minister of Defence and the country’s Defence and Security Industry Innovation Cluster will host a two-day conference in Tallinn during 30 November and 1 December to explore the options for boosting Europe’s defence innovation and its industrial base.
Dubbed “eESTI” (Event for European Science, Technology & Innovation) the conference will build on the Commission’s launch of the European Defence Fund (EDF) and explore the best ways to promote and finance defence innovation, with an emphasis on technological trends and drivers, and the role of SMEs. The conference will also feature an exhibition of regional players in defence and dual use innovation.
