EDIDP – Looking for independent experts!

As you may know, the European Commission is responsible for the implementation for the European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP). This programme, worth up to €500 million over 2019-2020, will co-finance the joint development of defence capabilities via grants. In April, we published 9 calls for proposal for 2019, which cover priority areas of defence equipment and technologies in all domains – air, land, sea, cyber and space.  To assist the Commission in the evaluation of proposals and the monitoring of successful projects, a call for expression of interest has been launched last January to establish a list of experts. Therefore, qualified individuals are invited to register on the Commission’s database to apply as prospective independent experts for EDIDP. More information for experts can be found on the dedicated expert area of the funding and tender opportunities website. Experts interested in evaluating for EDIDP need to be in possession of a personal security clearance at the appropriate level before appointment.
