New call ‘Challenging the future’ launched under PADR

On 19 March 2019, the European Commission published calls for proposals under the Preparatory Action on Defence Research (PADR). The 2019 work programme includes the area of future disruptive defence technologies. As part of this, the call ‘challenging the future’ (ref. PADR-FDDT-OPEN-03-2019) was launched today. The call aims to attract proposals for cutting-edge, high-risk and high-impact research leading to game-changing impact in a defence context.The European Commission will organise an information event on this in Brussels on 24 June 2019 from 14:30 to 18:00.
