EU gold for Denmark's defence cluster

CenSec, the Danish cluster network for companies in the defence industry, has been certified for gold within the European Cluster Excellence system. Gold is the highest recognition a European cluster can achieve.
CenSec has 144 member companies, spread across Denmark and in very different areas of work such as advanced production, electronics and software development as well as classified products and services. The list of members also includes leading Danish universities and other knowledge institutions in the field.
Klaus Bolving, CEO of CenSec, welcomes the good result: “The gold certification is a quality stamp of our work, and a proof that our team efforts and our systematic and methodological work creates results for our member companies, which is what we are here for.”
The certification allows clusters to compare themselves with other clusters in Europe and is a quality stamp of the cluster organisation, which provides greater international visibility as well as easier access to national and EU funding of innovation projects.
