TECES Green Tech Cluster is a leading Slovenian innovation cluster on green technologies and energy-efficient solutions, established in 2001.

It brings together leading Slovenian companies from the electronics and electrical, ICT, energy and construction sector, providers and users of energy-efficient solutions, top research and educational institutions, professional associations and other stakeholders in the Slovenian innovation environment.

TECES's primary mission is to create synergies between different stakeholders (companies, research organisations & universities, government, etc.) and to foster research development and business cooperation between companies and research institutions.

TECES has been a leader and coordinator of various Slovenian strategic partnerships and demonstration pilot projects. It is also one of the key actors in preparing and implementing the Slovenian Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) 2014 – 2020 and 2021 - 2027.

TECES is a founder and coordinator of three Slovenian partnerships (clusters): TECES – Energy Cluster (since 2007), SRIP Smart Buildings and Home (since 2017) and the Slovenian Energy and Environment Partnership in Defence – SiEnE (since 2020).

The Slovenian Energy and Environment Partnership in Defence – SiEnE was established in 2020 by TECES and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia (SI MoD). The SiEnE’s primary aim is to provide a strategic and comprehensive approach for responding to green transition, energy and environmental challenges in the defence, supporting Slovenian civilian stakeholders, the SI MoD and Slovenian Armed Forces in joining international defence programmes, projects and global value chains.
