A new report by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre assesses bottlenecks in the supply of materials needed for the development of technologies important to Europe's defence and civil industries. It focuses on 5 dual-use technology areas; namely, advanced batteries, fuel cells, robotics, unmanned vehicles and 3D printing. The report examines how these technologies could address specific military needs and identifies opportunities for future defence research areas. If you want to hear more about it, feel free to join us at the 7th Annual High-Level Conference of the European Innovation Partnership on 20 November. This conference will be part of the EU Raw Materials Week, which will take place in Brussels.
