The Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LDSIA) focuses on security and defence related products, and services mainly in the areas of advanced materials, aeronautics, airspace, cybersecurity, electronics, energy, ICT, land sector, photonics, robotics and RPAS drones technologies. LDSIA strive to ensure that the industry is keen on adopting disruptive, commercial technologies. Around 80% of the LDSIA activities involve the dual use and defence sectors.

LDSIA represents round 100 companies working with the defence and security sector. Alongside their network of institutions and academia, they initiate and facilitate regional and national clusters within different areas. Since, most of LDSIA’s members are SMEs, they have a focus on activities to engage SMEs in defence businesses and many projects aim to benefit the SMEs.

The LDSIA fosters innovation by the SMEs in Lithuania, cooperates with Lithuania's research institutions, coordinates with national institutions, EU and NATO.
